INTRODUCTION

PINTAR BI adalah layanan berbasis web-apps oleh Bank Indonesia untuk melayani kebutuhan keuangan masyarakat, seperti penukaran uang untuk denominasi yang lebih kecil, uang rusak, etc.

Ini adalah proyek revamp di minggu kedua ketika saya belajar di Purwadhika. Saya ditugaskan untuk melakukan revamp dalam alur ticketing system, yaitu alur ketika user melakukan penjadwalan sesi penukaran uang.

PROBLEMS IN A GLANCE

The PINTAR BI website was launched by the Indonesian government in 2020, but it remains relatively unknown to the public. I conducted an in-depth analysis to understand why.

To exchange currency, users must first book a session on the PINTAR website before visiting the Bank Indonesia headquarters. However, the website has low traffic and a high bounce rate. I believe this issue stems from a poorly designed and non-responsive user interface.

WHY THIS PLATFORM NEEDS AN IMPROVEMENT?

As a public service accessed by many, PINTAR BI needs a fresh and user-friendly design.

Beyond driving positive business impact, it is my responsibility as a designer to ensure users have a satisfying experience when using the PINTAR platform. After adopting some examples and flow from similar website, finally i can implement better design and easier flow for users to finishes their intended task.

I did a research about PINTAR website stats to gain insights into user behavior and help guide my design decisions.

Did a User Research & Testing Sessions to validate those problems

I gathered feedback from users through a Google Form, asking various questions relevant to the features on the PINTAR website. For each issue identified, I proposed a series of potential solutions to address user concerns. Once the data was collected, I analyzed and organized it, with the results presented in the Insight Summary below.

Simplify ticketing flow, did a further analysis myself.

Improving the ticketing system flow was a priority for this project, so I researched various flows that could be applied to the PINTAR website. I found that the ticketing flows on the Apple and Samsung websites were particularly suitable for adoption. Both offer a modern UI, an easy booking process, and clear end goals.

I studied several layout samples from various bank websites, analyzing how they arrange their components, place content, and visualized the redesign of the currency exchange page and the overall flow that needed improvement. I was also inspired to adopt ticketing flows from Samsung and Apple to create a more efficient process.

THIS PROJECT

I dedicated a significant amount of time to this project, including conducting research by sending questions to well-known banks. I inquired about their currency exchange policies and cycles, which might be applicable to PINTAR BI.
